ଆସ, ବଂଚିବାର କଳା ଶିଖିବା l
କୁଞ୍ଜବିହାରୀ ରାଉତ

ଜୀବନ କେବେ ବି ସମତଳ ରାସ୍ତା ନୁହେଁ କି
ଗୋଲାପର ଶଯ୍ୟା
ଜୀବନକୁ ଜିଇବାକୁ ହେଲେ, 
ଓଗାଳିବ ବାଧାବିଘ୍ନର ବାଘ
ରାତିରେ ଫୁଟିଥିବା ଫୁଲ ଜାଣିନଥାଏ
ରାତି ପାହିଲେ ସେ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଯିବ ନା ମଶାଣିକୁ ଯିବ
ତଥାପି ସେ ସୁଗନ୍ଧ ବାଣ୍ଟି ଚାଲିଥାଏ, ଏ ସମାଜରେ l

ଏ ସଂସାରରେ ସବୁ ମଣିଷ ମରନ୍ତି
ମାତ୍ର ସବୁ ମଣିଷ ବଂଚିବା ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ 
ଜୀବନ ଜିଇବା ବଡକଥା ନୁହେଁ 
ଠିକଣା ଢଙ୍ଗରେ ଜିଇବା ବଡକଥା

ଗଣିତ କେବେ ଶିଖାଇନି

 ଜୀବନେ ସୁଖ ଯୋଗ କିପରି କରିବାକୁ ହୁଏ
ଦୁଃଖ କିପରି ବିୟୋଗ କରାଯାଏ
ତେବେ ଶିଖାଇଛି,
ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ସମସ୍ୟାର ସମାଧାନ ଅଛି
ଜୀବନ ଅଛି ମାନେ ସମସ୍ୟା ଅଛି
ସମସ୍ୟା ଅଛି ମାନେ ସମାଧାନ ଅଛି .....

ସାହିତ୍ୟ କହିଛି,
ଜୀବନ ତୁମକୁ କାନ୍ଦିବା ପାଇଁ ଶହେ କାରଣ ଦେଖାଇବ
ତୁମେ ତାକୁ ହସିବା ପାଇଁ 
ଶହେ ଏକ କାରଣ ଦେଖାଇ ପାରିଲେ
ତୁମେ ଜିତିଯିବ।

ପରାଜୟ ପାଇଁ ନୁହେଁ  ଜନ୍ମ ମଣିଷର
ତେବେ ବଂଧୁ, ଆସ ଜୀବନ ସଂଗୀତ ଗାଇବା
ନହୋଇ ଅଧିର
"ସତରେ କି ଦୁର୍ମୁଲ୍ୟ ଏ ମାନବ ଜୀବନ!

ଆସ ଆମେ ମରିବା ପରେ ବି ବଞ୍ଚିବାର କଳା ଶିଖିବା......!"

LET'S LEARN THE ART OF LIVING.

Life is never either an even highway

Or a cosy couch made of the soft roses.......!

To live is to be obstructed by the obstacle leopards,

The nocturnal blooms are never aware of their diurnal destinations - either temples or crematoria,

Notwithstanding, they keep showering their fragrance in the society........!

Needles to say that all men pass away in this mortal world,

However, all of them aren't blessed with the art of living......!

Existing like matters and living like mature human beings are diametrically two different arts......!

Arithmetics never teaches us how to add happiness to life,

Neither does it inculcate the tricks to subtract life's sorrows,

Still, it has taught -

There is a solution for each problem,

Life and hardship are complementary to each other,

Where there is a problem, there is a solution too......!

Literature advocates -

Life has in its store hundred reasons to make you cry,

Still, you can be a triumphant in life Provided you have to treasure hundred and one ways to make life joyous.......!

To succumb to defeat is not the ultimate goal of human birth,

Then, let's patiently and calmly sing a psalm of life, dear friends:

"Human life is, indeed, invaluable,

Hence, let's all learn the art of living even after death....."
