SHISHU HASILE / WHEN LAUGHS A BABY….
Oh! When laughs a baby,
Laughs gaily the dear ally Spring in delight;
When laughs a baby,
Laugh the serene sky and the Full Moon night!
Oh! When laughs a baby,
Laugh heartily the village and the water lily;
When laughs a baby,
Laugh the home and the barren land merrily!
Oh! When laughs a baby,
Laugh cheerfully the jungle, the hill and the river;
When laughs a baby,
Laughs the grandma vigorously until swells her liver!
Oh! When laughs a baby,
Laughs gladly the toy and starts its joyous dancing;
When laughs a baby,
Laughs the flower blissfully, and life starts singing!
Oh! When laughs a baby,
Laughs mother for being blessed with fulfillment;
When laughs a baby,
Laughs the country dreaming of her future achievement!
Oh! When laughs a baby,
Laughs God too for having heard its gentle voice,
And He blesses it bounteously -
“May you spread truth, ethics and non-violence!”
